Uma Jagwani is a poet, writer, and teacher who graduated from Brandeis University and received her B.A. in English and Creative Writing. She received the Susan Mae Green Prize for Creativity in Poetry. She is a poet and journalist. Her poems can be found in Laurel Moon Magazine, Underblong, Impossible Task, Fish Barrel Review and elsewhere. Her journalism pieces can be read on the Brandeis Hoot website, where she was previously a staff writer. She is currently a Guest Writer for The Manila Times.
